The power of TRUTH
The power of truth is in its ability to expose lies, open the eyes of unbelievers to a world they never knew existed, persuade and convince those who will accept the truth while creating division from those who choose to remain in the dark.
This is the power of history, where truth is revealed for those who will look back and see. In history we see the patterns of activities, decisions, deceit, and propaganda presented to the public by our own government. We can see the ignorance and apathy of the American citizen while his and her freedoms were eroded. But we cannot see the same thing in the present day because we are blinded by the focus on daily activities in our lives, the propaganda promoted on television and in news media, the distractions and diversion of music and Hollywood films.
Today, as in the years before, our government is lying. It is involved in unconscionable acts of aggression and violence toward innocent people around the globe, particularly in the Middle East.
In my book, I lay out the history, the truth and the power it holds to persuade and convince … and expose the lies being told today.
President Bush says 9/11 was the catalyst for U.S. aggression in the Middle East. He says that our presence there does not fuel the insurgency since we were not there on September 11, 2001. He is a liar twice-fold.
If someone told you that the Africans rowed to America on their own and volunteered to work for free on the planations, or that there was no such thing as legal lynching in America, or that women were always involved in the political process here, or that America never engaged in human rights abuses against its own citizens, or that our government never was involved in eugenics experiments or medical experiments on targeted populations of the people would you be inclined to believe them?
We would not be so easily persuaded to believe the lies that are proffered today about American history becase we have some knowledge of the truth. But we readily accept the lies told about the U.S. involvement in the Middle East because we do not know the history … and the truth.
It is time for the WHOLE truth about the U.S. War on Terror to be exposed. For 3 1/2 years I asked the questions you may never have asked. I researched the information you may have never known existed. And I tell the story from our first invasion of Iran to the present-day war in Iraq. You will be surprised. And if you have any sacred cows in American politics, they will all be slaughtered.
Can you handle the WHOLE truth?
