The Conspiracy to Label Truth a “Conspiracy”

Across America today the editorial pages of newspapers, political cartoons, TV programs and news magazines are all touting the same thing … the nation is awash with conspiracy theorists. One cartoon showed a can of nuts and from inside the can were sprouting labels targeting those who believe in any number of theories about 9/11.

Some people ask me how could so many people be in on an effort to deceive the American people. I tell them that they are looking at the wrong things and asking the wrong people the wrong questions. That is the answer to their question.

For example, how is it possible that the attacks of 9/11 could occur, the scenes get wiped clean, the explanations by the government go unquestioned and not a soul in Congress calls for an independent investigation?

Think about this. If you talk about your conspiracies, tell me how a 757 crashes into the Pentagon in the nation’s capitol, where virtually ALL of the nation’s major national media are represented and not one media outlet gets one good photo of plane wreckage? Not one peice of luggage. Not one seat. Not one fuselage, wheel, wings or tail. Nothing.

Here’s another: How is it that 461 days go by while 4 widows (who lost their husbands in the twin towers) get bamboozled by government official after government official while calling for an official investigation to answer their questions … and not one elected leader or national media outlet assists them in getting an answer to all of their questions? Their persistence led to the government relenting and opening the 9/11 Commission investigation. That Commission was fixed and the individuals on it threw out 70% of the items the widows themselves asked for it to look into. The two leaders were appointed by the president. One worked for Bush and other for Clinton. The widows complained bitterly. But not a single media outlet to this very day has taken up the challenge of helping these women uncover the truth. How is that possible? Isn’t the media supposed to be the eyes and ears of the people? Isn’t the media supposed to look into the lies and propaganda proffered by our government?

Unfortunately, today the mainstream national media is promoting the notion that in the absence of truth, the theories presented by the people themselves are merely “conspiracy theories.”

My theory is that there is a cover up of enormous proportions. If you think that sounds crazy, try answering the questions I’ve posted below.

If we take a step back from the tree and look at the whole forest, we can plainly see that there are legitimate facts that the government will not address. Here are a few:

Did our government send a CIA covert mission to Iran to act as a terrorist agent and overthrow the government in 1953? Yes, it did.

Did our government replace a democratic Muslim government with a brutal dictator who then killed thousands of Iranians? Yes, it did.

Did our government control Iranian oil through the auspices of a brutal dictator for more than 25 years? Yes, it did.

Did our government then strategize and prepare plans to go to war against Iran after the Iranian people regained control over their own nation in 1979? Yes, it did.

Did our government befriend yet another brutal dictator in Iraq and assist in an invasion of Iran in 1980 through 1988 that cost millions of lives? Yes, it did.

Did our government then strategize against Iraq after losing control over Saddam Hussein and prepare to wage war against it in 1990? Yes, it did.

Did either Iran or Iraq ever attack the U.S.? No, not once.

Did the U.S. send hundreds of thousands of U.S. troops into Saudi Arabia under the pretext that the U.S. would defend the Islamic kingdom in 1990? Yes, it did.

Did the U.S. lie to the Saudis in order to obtain permission to send U.S. troops to Saudi Arabia in 1990? Yes, it did.

Did the U.S. send more than a half-million troops to Saudi Arabia and use them to invade Iraq in 1991? Yes, it did.

Did the U.S. take control over 2/3 of Iraqi skies in 1991? Yes, it did.

Did the U.S. bomb Iraq for 13 of the 15 years our military has been there? Yes, it did.

Was the U.S. military in Iraq and killing Iraqis in 2001? Yes, it was … and has been since 1991.

Has the U.S. engaged in unprovoked, hostile, violent, terrorist activities in the Middle East, according to our own government’s definition? Yes, it has.

Did the U.S. receive warnings to leave the Middle East before 9/11? Yes, many times.

Has the American public been aware that our government has waged war in the Middle East for over 53 years? No, it hasn’t. How is it possible that the U.S. government has maintained a policy of aggression in the Middle East and caused the loss of millions of lives in Muslim countries while the American public has been completely unaware? It could be construed as a massive conspiracy theory … except that it is true.

Do the Islamic nations have an equal right to defend themselves against U.S. aggression?
