KDOV Broadcast
Yesterday, three things occurred.
I was a guest of Perry Atkinson on KDOV Christian talk radio, Samuel Alito was confirmed as a Supreme Court Justice, and the president addressed the nation in his State of the Union speech.
Of course, of these three, my radio appearance was the most important.
If you missed it, don’t worry. Perry and I talked only for a half-hour. And now Perry is interested in reading the book (thank God), after which he has promised to have me back on again! Stay tuned for developments on that front.
As you all know, the president has called for staying the course in Iraq. He has laid out the need for America to remain a global power. And that literally means we can expect attacks on this country, sacrifices of our brave American troops and the senseless deaths of innocent people in the Middle East and elsewhere.
The all-night party at the British Foreign Minister’s home (Jack Straw) attended by Condy Rice and her counterparts from the EU, France, Germany, China and Russia on Jan. 30-31, yielded the fruit the U.S. and EU have desired. Iran was referred to the Security Council.
Iran, on the other hand, has continually asked, “Who are you folks that think you can tell the world what it ought to do?”
Hmmm …
